Nonaka started all 19 games in goal this season, logging 1384:49 minutes in between the pipes. She allowed 29 goals for a 1.88 goals against average while posting 82 saves for a .739 save percentage. Nonaka ends her career as the record holder for season and career shutouts at Southwestern. She was named SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week during the fifth week of action while also earning Second Team All-SCAC honors and was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2011 (Junior)

Nonaka tended goal in 17 games for the Pirates. She played a total of 1,447 minutes in goal. Nonaka only allowed 23 goals this season for a 1.43 goals against average, which ranked her eighth in the SCAC. Nonaka also was at the top in the SCAC, she was third in saves with 95 and she was fifth in save percentage at 80.5%. Nonaka was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll, Athletic Director Honor Roll, Dean's List and was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society in the Spring. 

2010 (Sophomore)

Nonaka played in all 18 contests this season, logging 1602 minutes between the posts. She allowed 25 goals for a 1.40 goals against average and made 84 saves for a .771 save percentage while recording six shutouts. For her efforts Nonaka was named as the SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week from Oct. 11-17. She was a member of the SCAC Fall 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll, Athletic Director Honor Roll and Dean's List. 

2009 (First-year)

Played in 17 matches, starting 6 of those contests in goal in her first season with the Pirates...had 63 saves on the year and only allowed 18 goals, giving her a save percentage of .773...totaled four shutouts on the season.

High School

Sarah, a 2009 graduate of Punahou High School in Honolulu, HI, is a recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award of Honor as well as being an All-State selection in 2008. Sarah also played on the Honolulu Bulls Soccer Club.

Sarah is the daughter of Marilyn and Denis. Sarah is a kinesiology major at SU.
